For the balance of my career, I delivered secure software, mobile apps, and AI/ML SaaS solutions for leaders in finance and big data. I’ve always been passionate about the cultivation of customer-centric products, and have always led with a personal touch to create fit-for-purpose solutions. These qualities have served me well. They're also qualities that I can take anywhere. That being said, I made a decision to move away from product and project management in the finance industry to a field that has an immediate, significant, and life-changing impact on people's lives; guiding people on the path to financial freedom. We all have a need for financial security, for ourselves and our loved ones. If you're like most people, unfortunately, access to the information and resources to get to a place where we're not worrying about how we're going to support ourselves in our later years is not easily accessible, whether it's the cost of a financial advisor or the complexity of the system that discourages action. We're left to trust the system, a system built to benefit those with plenty of resources, not the regular people like me. In my case, I was resigned to the fact that I would have to work well past retirement age and was planning to rely on my daughter for my long term care (hoping that I had raised her right...). More importantly to me, however, has always been to ensure that my disabled son has the support needed to keep him safe and secure after I'm gone. This is my "why". This is why I chose this path. And now that I'm on this path, I want to help you do the same for yourself and your loved ones.
